BBQ pork ribs are a great little finger food and can be prepared fairly easily using only your oven. To get that great 'fall off the bone' texture it does take a slow cooked approach, albeit easy, it's not quick, so you need a little time and consideration.
This recipe is not the traditional rich thick and sticky American style pork rib. You can add that smoky flavour with adding smoked paprika, with a slight sweetness using apple juice and a little honey avoiding that overpowering 'in your face' bbq sauce kick usually associated with BBQ pork ribs - don't get me wrong it is not bad when you feel like it. Just sometimes you want a starter style rib that doesn't fill your palate with such rich and sweet flavours that you have no desire to eat anything else.
