These little prawn bites are just so easy to eat and I regularly make a batch to snack away on while watching TV - true popcorn prawns.

We first had tried this dish when we lived in Hong Kong and went to Nobu at the Intercontinental Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon side of Hong Kong harbour and then over the years came across them often in slight variations. The recipe is really easy, to be authentic you can make your own sauce from scratch (recipe is below) but the to be honest I made it with good quality mayonnaise mixed with garlic chilli sauce for ease and it was very similar.
